The sail no. is incorrect. I did not want to duplicate anybody else so I gave mine a famous RAF Sqn No! 617 Sqn the Dambusters - I am a serving RAF Officer. A couple of years ago I was due to assume command of the RAF Air Traffic Control Squadron at Gutersloh in Germany. My Bradwell was all set to be moored on the Monasee with the British Army Sailing Club. I thought it would be ironic to fly an RAF Sailing Association pennant/ensign with 617 on the sail! Unfortunately I then got posted to RAF St Mawgan. So the event did not happen! Anyway the boat is now moored at Port Navas on the River Helford, near Falmouth.
