| River Trent nr Nottingham | No.53 | Built 1975 |
In the same ownership since 1979.
Over the years improvements have made to her but the basic layout is still the same. Two mahoghany support pillars have been pu in, one on each side just forward of the sink and cooker, to assist the beams supporting the mast and these are supported by re-enforcing under the cabin sole. they are not in the way, and blend in with the rest of the interior. I was not happy with the mast downthrust being taken by the sides of the superstructure.
I have added a spray hood, I sail when I can through the winter, and I am much warmer now. I have also mahoghany planked the hatches, which vastly improves the looks.
