Cupido: to desire, wish, long for, desire

We 'accidentally' bought Cupido in Jan 2005. Browsing eBay, Malcolm put in a bid for about 2/3rds of what she was worth and ended up winning, a bit of a risk but it turned out OK. She had been known as "Old Betsy" a name which we didn't much care for so we have renamed her after the "Small Blue" butterfly Cupido Minimus as this is our first boat and our first boating trip was our honeymoon in 1985 on a canal barge called "Small Copper", also a small butterfly, on the River Avon from Evesham to Straford-upon-Avon.
